William Beaumont Army Medical Center
William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) is a U.S. Army Department of Defense medical facility at Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. It provides inpatient/outpatient care, emergency services, and graduate medical education (Level III trauma). The 1.1-million-square-foot complex opened in 2021 and is affiliated with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. WBAMC serves active duty personnel, their families, and retirees, and participates in residency and nursing programs (USU, UTEP, El Paso Community College). For hematology/oncology specialty needs, WBAMC operates within the hospital system under MEDCOM and offers comprehensive health services to the El Paso region and beneficiaries, including an active emergency department.
