Published research
Clinic Ratings Index 2026 analyses the rating distribution across all 92,083 listings. Headline findings: 9.5% of rated clinics hold an exact 5.0, ranging from 39.9% in chiropractic to 3.2% in urgent care, and 26.6% of listings have no rating discoverable on any platform.

How to describe our data accurately
Our figures describe this directory's coverage, not the American clinic population. Listings are assembled by crawling public sources, so a clinic with no web presence is absent entirely. This is not a registry and should not be compared against provider counts from NPPES or HRSA, which are built very differently.
Ratings are aggregated from public review platforms and normalised to a 0 to 5 scale; they are not reviews collected by us, and we do not independently verify individual reviewers. We do not publish figures on insurance acceptance, language availability or telehealth, because those fields are unnormalised free text in our source data and any percentage built on them would be misleading.
We would rather be quoted narrowly and correctly than broadly and wrongly. If a sentence you are writing goes further than the above, send it to us and we will tell you whether the data supports it.
