Green River Area Development District
Green River Area Development District (GRADD) is a regional planning agency and council of governments serving Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster counties in Kentucky. It provides aging, health and social services; community and economic development; transportation planning; and workforce development. GRADD supports local governments and citizens by identifying issues and opportunities and leading planning and program implementation to improve quality of life. The district is headquartered in Owensboro, KY, and employs about 29 staff with an annual revenue around $3.2 million (as of the latest figures). Recent GRADD activity includes ongoing hiring for aging and disability services roles (e.g., Case Manager, Aging Services Assessor, Waiver Case Manager) to assist individuals with physical disabilities and aging-related needs.
