DHMC (Dartmouth–Hitchcock Medical Center) is the flagship academic medical center of the Dartmouth Health system, based in Lebanon, NH. It operates 507 inpatient beds and serves northern New England as a major tertiary-care and Level I trauma center (the state’s only Level I center). DHMC partners with the Geisel School of Medicine and other Dartmouth institutions to provide primary, specialty, subspecialty care, education, and research. The system includes Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics and DHMC is NH’s only Level I Trauma Center with air ambulance service.
