Mass Eye and Ear
Mass General Brigham (MGB) is a nonprofit, integrated health system based in Greater Boston, uniting major hospitals and health services under one umbrella. It includes Mass General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and several affiliated hospitals and health programs, with about 82,000 staff and roughly $20B in annual operating revenue. MGB operates Mass Eye and Ear (one of its subspecialty entities) among its affiliated institutions and offers clinical care, teaching (Harvard Medical School affiliation), home care, and a health plan across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. It has undergone restructuring and cost-containment efforts in recent years and maintains system-wide alignment with academic medicine and patient care initiatives.
