Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is a nonprofit pediatric health system based in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1950, it operates as the region’s only health system dedicated exclusively to children, including Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, multiple outpatient centers in the tri-county area, the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation, Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (a nonprofit physician practice), a management services organization, and an ambulatory surgery center.
