Common complaints
- Concerns regarding substandard level of care and lack of communication regarding patient wishes
- Mixed reports on bedside manner and interpersonal interactions for some surgeons
"Dr. Crouch is a brilliant cardiac surgeon. He is calm, to the point and extremely focused. What he lacks in interpersonal or nurturing bedside manner is covered by his Nurse Practitioners, especially Jackie, who support Dr. Crouch and become the patients and caregivers primary point person."
- Healthgrades (Dr. John Crouch)"Dr. Kress performed my husband's mitral valve repair and aortic valve replacement... St Luke's is supposed to be the 'heart hospital', but their level of care was substandard at best."
- Healthgrades (Dr. David Kress)"Dr. Pearson did an exceptional job to explain what testing had identified as the problem prior to the operation and reviewed corrective options prior to surgery. The day of surgery, I had no concerns due to the professionalism and explanations from him and his staff."
