Monroe Regional Hospital's Emergency Department (ED) is a 24/7 full-service, Level 4 trauma center in Aberdeen, Mississippi. It serves patients of all ages with a range of needs from non-emergent to life-threatening. The ED features 6 rooms (including two trauma rooms) equipped with monitoring, and has on-site access to respiratory therapy, laboratory, radiology, and other services. All ED physicians are board-certified in Emergency Medicine, and ED staff include RNs certified in pediatric and adult advanced life support as well as trauma. The hospital participates in state trauma, heart attack, and stroke programs and offers comprehensive related services beyond the ED (e.g., laboratory, imaging, nutrition, physical therapy, behavioral health, and more).
